1 suspect in custody for deadly triple shooting in Des Moines, reward offered for info on 2nd suspect

Police have identified two suspects in connection with last month’s deadly shooting outside of a Des Moines bar. 

On Sept. 26, three people were killed and three were injured in a shooting outside the La Familia Sports on 22855 Pacific Highway South.

Des Moines police announced on Monday that they have developed probable cause to arrest Joshua D. Puloka aka ‘Joshua Everybodytalksabout’ for three counts of murder and Demarcus L. Simmons for felony assault.

As of Monday afternoon, Puloka turned himself in. He is currently being booked into jail.

Investigators said people should not attempt contact with Simmons.

Thanks to a donation from a friend of victim Ezra Taylor, the Crime Stoppers cash reward is $3,000 for information leading to an arrest in the case.
