A group of neighbors in Pierce County who helped law enforcement stop a prolific car thief are sharing their relief after a judge altered a plea deal and gave him a longer sentence. Frank Kern aka 'Honda John' was sentenced to 6 years in prison after pleading guilty to several charges including auto theft and assault.

According to court documents, the cases involve the same scam where the defendant comes into a business and claims she spoke to the manager about a refund and demands the clerk give her money.

January 22, 2023 - A jury found Joshua Glazier, 29, guilty last week in the murder of Richard Plumlee, 43, from Roy on December 17, 2019.

Pierce County Judge Constance White sentenced Samantha Eazor to 7 years in prison on Friday. October 14.    A Jury found her guilty of second-degree assault and resisting arrest on Sept. 16 after she tried to run over a Washington State Patrol Trooper while escaping arrest.  

The Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating 29-year-old Hayden Armstrong-Nunes, who deputies say fired a handgun “in the vicinity” of his ex-girlfriend and her current boyfriend.

The U.S. Marshals led Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force and the Washington State Department of Corrections has located a wanted sex offender and fugitive, Matthew Loren Harbert, 39.

Update: Feb. 10: Bonney Lake Police arrested 25-year-old Austin Smith on Thursday morning after getting an anonymous tip from a FOX 13 viewer that he was at a casino in Fife. 

Authorities say two men are suspected of stealing a 350-pound, five-foot tall safe loaded with guns, jewelry and gold coins.

Detectives with the King County Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Unit are asking for the public's help in locating a 2010 Audi A5 that is believed to have been used in a November 2021 homicide near Auburn. 

Mercer Island police are looking to identify suspects wanted for attacking a woman before stealing and using her debit card.

A man was attacked and cut up while trying to protect his wife and kids from a home invasion robbery suspect after that suspect stole three vehicles and committed multiple car prowls and burglaries in a two-hour period, police said.

A Mountlake Terrace pub is trying to bounce back after two thieves stole an ATM and a coin machine from their business.  

A suspect wanted in connection to an armed robbery at Fillabong marijuana store in Silverdale on Sept. 26 has turned himself in. 

A year ago, the body of 29-year-old Serena ‘Ree Ree’ Turner was found by the Jenkins Creek exit off of Highway 18 near Maple Valley. Initially recorded as suspicious circumstances, detectives are now investigating her death as a murder. 

A wanted suspect was arrested by Bellevue Police early Tuesday morning as they arrived to him allegedly replacing the wheels on his rented Dodge Challenger with stolen wheels from a Dodge dealership.
