Pope to sell his Harley for soup kitchen
SEATTLE -- It was a gift -- not from God, but a group of Harley Davidson bikers.
Now, Pope Francis is selling the gift of a Harley Davidson motorbike in yet another example that the Pope prefers the old and humble to the flashy and new.
Francis was giving the motorbike on the 110th birthday of the brand. He will auction off the bike to raise money for the refurbishment of a youth hostel and a soup kitchen near Rome's Termini station.
