Port Angeles bulldozer rampage gets animated
Obscene gesture in video
PORT ANGELES, Wash. -- The story of a Port Angeles man allegedly rampaging through his neighborhood on a bulldozer has gone viral.
And animated.
A Taiwanese animation company posted a video remake of suspect Barry Swegle's recent bulldozer rampage.
Swegle allegedly used a bulldozer to crush three homes after a neighbor put up a fence during a property-line dispute. Swegle, who has a criminal history, is being held Clallam County Jail in lieu of $1 million bail.
Here is how the animator described the incident:
The dispute over the fence between his property and that of Dan Davis was not new, but Swegle suddenly snapped, hopped onto his bulldozer and wiped out the barrier. He then drove the vehicle into a manufactured house Davis owned, pushing it off its foundation and into another neighbor's house. He then took out the east side of Davis's home, a boat shed, his Ford F-250 and a power pole, leaving thousands of local residents without electricity.
Police were called in and Swegle gave up without resistance. He is now being held on a $1 million bail.
