LANGLEY, British Columbia -- A father has apparently confessed to killing three members of his family in a disturbing post on his Facebook page.

CBC News reports Randy Janzen wrote a post on Facebook admitting to killing his daughter, 19, and his wife and sister -- saying they are now "pain free and in heaven."

The post says Janzen killed his daughter Emily who suffered migraines and depression since elementary school. The post says he then killed his wife Laurel because "a mother should never have hear the news her baby has died," and his sister Shelly so she would not have to live with "this shame."

Authorities confirmed they discovered multiple homicides after receiving tips about the social media post, but they would not confirm the identities of all those involved. However, they did say one of the bodies is believed to be that of the suspect.

Officials said there were two crime scenes, one in Langley and another in Popkum.

The Chilliwack School of Performing Arts posted on Facebook saying student Emily Janzen would be missed.

The investigation is ongoing.
