Report: New mother charged in connection with beheading of baby daughter

CINCINNATI, Ohio -- An Ohio mother is now accused in the gruesome death of her 3-month-old baby.

Sources told WCPO-TV that the baby girl was found beheaded in a Cincinnati home early Monday morning.



Tuesday Deasia Watkins, 20, was charged with aggravated murder in connection with the baby's death.

The local coroner told WCPO the baby suffered from ‘multiple traumas’ and officials were still investigating whether Watkins was acting alone.

Investigators said they would be offering additional details about the crime as the days progressed.
