Road reopens after fire blocks all northbound lanes of I-405 just south of 85th

A car fire shut down all northbound lanes of I-405 near 85th on Friday afternoon, the Washington State Patrol reported.

Troopers reported that everyone was OK.

Troopers began opening all lanes to traffic just before 2:15 p.m., though residual backups were expected.
