Robbery suspect taken to hospital following high-speed chase, crash
BOTHELL -- A robbery suspect was taken to the hospital after crashing a car during a high speed chase with cops Wednesday, the King County Sheriff's Office said
The unidentified robbery suspect attempted to elude police in Shoreline during a stop around 2 p.m., deputies said. The suspect led police on a high-speed chase until crashing the car near the intersection of 213th Street and Bothell Highway.
The driver was taken into custody, and transported to a local hospital with a hip injury. The extent of the injury was not immediately known.
The suspect was driving a stolen car when he crashed, deputies said.
Deputies said traffic was being rerouted following the chase and subsequent investigation.
