Runners dash through downtown Seattle for holiday, charity
Thousands of runners hit the streets early Sunday morning for the annual St. Patrick's Day Dash.
The Aurora Bridge and streets near the Seattle Center were closed down for the 15,000 runners expected to participate.
The Dash benefits Northwest children's charities through the Detleft Schrempt Foundation.
This year's beneficiaries are Camp Fire USA Puget Sound Council, Seattle Children's Autism Center, Rise n Shine, and the Hearing Center.
