Sammamish team beats Nashville 6-5, advances in Little League World Series
WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -- After falling behind 2-0 in the first inning, the Eastlake Little League All Stars from Sammamish scored six runs in the third inning to come back and beat Nashville, Tenn., 6-5 to advance in the Little league World Series.
Jake Dahlstrom earned the win for Eastlake. He allowed four runs, struck out four and gave up five hits.
Eastlake has a day off before taking on the winner of Wednesday's Chula Vista, Calif., and Bridgeport, Conn., in a loser-out game on Thursday. A win Thursday would send Sammamish into Saturday’s U.S. title game.
