Say neigh! Horse rescued after falling in abandoned well
MASON COUNTY- An 800-pound horse was rescued from an abandoned well in Mason County Tuesday afternoon.
Central Mason Fire & EMS responded to a report of a horse stuck in a four-foot-square well. The 800-pound horse, Magic, was totally submerged in the well except for her head and right front leg.
Rescuers were able to free her left front leg and then used a fire hose double wrapped around her body to pull her out.
Magic had a few bumps and bruises, but is reportedly doing well and under the care of a veterinarian.
