School bus hit on I-5; no injuries to 5 kids on board

FEDERAL WAY -- No kids were injured when a school bus was hit Thursday morning on Interstate 5.

Around 7:10 a.m., the bus was hit while traveling in the right lane of northbound I-5 near SR 18. Five children were on the bus, but none were injured in the crash, officials said.

The collision blocked the right lane of I-5 in Federal Way.

It was not immediately known what district the school bus belonged to, or where the bus was headed.
