Seattle, King County appoint 'heroin epidemic task force' to try to treat the addiction
SEATTLE -- A new task force appointed Tuesday by Seattle and King County on heroin and opioid addiction plans to pull people out of the shadows and treat the addiction -- rather than just putting them in prison.
Mayor Ed Murray and King County Executive Dow Constantine are calling for more facilities and more beds for those being treated for drug addiction.
