Seattle police arrest felon who allegedly pulled gun, threatened to kill man
SEATTLE -- Seattle Police say Lawrence Edward Calloway Jr. pointed a handgun at a man's chest during an argument and threatened to kill him.
Detectives arrested him Wednesday after asking for the public's help in finding him. He is booked in the King County Jail on Felony Harassment.
Detectives say he has been in an ongoing domestic dispute with the victim and has threatened to kill the victim’s 3-year-old daughter.
Calloway has seven drug convictions, along with Telephone Harassment and Protection Order Violation.
“He's armed. He's a convicted felon. He has no right to have a firearm but yet he's on the street with a gun and, in this specific case, he actually pulled his gun from his waistband, pointed it at the victim and threats were said,” Ret. Det. Myrle Carner with Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound said before police found and arrested Calloway.
