Seattle Police investigate deadly shooting in Belltown

SEATTLE -- Homicide detectives are working to determine who shot a man found by officers on a Belltown sidewalk Sunday morning.

Officers were called to the 2100 block of 3rd Ave. on reports of gunfire around 3 a.m. Sunday.

Police found a man in his 40's with a gunshot wound laying on the sidewalk. They performed CPR until paramedics got to the scene.

Seattle Fire transported the man to Harborview, where he later died.

Detectives have not released any details on suspects, or a possible motive for the crime.
