Seattle Police investigating deadly shooting in Bitter Lake

Seattle police are investigating a deadly shooting in the Bitter Lake neighborhood on Thursday night.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting at 9:30 p.m in the 12500 block of Aurora Avenue North.

When officer arrived, they found a man who appeared to have been shot multiple times. Police attempted live-saving measures before medics arrived. They took over, but the 29-year-old man would not survive his injuries and died on scene.

The events leading up to the shooting are still unknown. 

Seattle police's crime investigation unit and homicide detectives are continuing to investigate the case.
