Sheriff: 51-year-old Mason County man shot, killed after fight with 80-year-old
SHELTON, Wash. -- A 51-year-old Mason County man was shot and killed Tuesday night after getting into an altercation with an 80-year-old man who was an acquaintance, the Mason County Sheriff's Office said.
The shooting occurred at a residence in the 100 block of W. Chappell Crossing, off of the Shelton Matlock Road, about 6 miles west of Shelton, a sheriff's office spokesman said.
The 80-year-old accused shooter did not appear to be injured and was cooperating with detectives, the spokesman said.
