Showery start to first week of summer

SEATTLE -- An area of low pressure is circulating offshore, spinning showers our way the next couple of days.

We're starting out with areas of fog this morning and it feels muggy too. Today through Wednesday, expect periods of rain with highs a little below normal -- upper 60s to near 70.

A ridge of high pressure builds in for the end of the week and weekend. It should be partly-to-mostly sunny Thursday through Sunday, with highs feeling more like summer -- mid-to-upper 70s.  Note:  I cannot rule out a stray shower at times, especially on Friday.
