Small plane goes down in Thurston County; elderly pilot taken to hospital

CHEHALIS-- A small plane crashed Tuesday in Thurston County, sending a 72-year-old pilot to the hospital.

Sheriff's deputies reported the Cessna 170 crash on Twitter around 12:10 p.m.

The pilot was the only person on board, deputies said. He was transported to Harborview Medical Center with unknown injuries.
