Seattle PD operation leads to 14 arrests, seizure of cash, drugs and weapons in CID

Seattle police arrested 14 people and seized cash, drugs and a weapon in a coordinated safety operation in the Chinatown-International District on Wednesday.

SPD says the operation consisted of the Community Response Group, Downtown Activation Team and West Precinct Patrol officers, and was conducted near 12th Avenue South and South Jackson Street as part of Mayor Bruce Harrell's Downtown Activation Plan.

Seattle police say they seized more than $300 in cash, 90 grams of narcotics, including meth and fentanyl, and also recovered a butterfly knife.

At least three suspects were booked into the King County Correctional Facility on investigation of narcotics charges, while 11 others were booked into jail for other reasons.
