SEATTLE - Two people in a stolen SUV had to be extricated by the Seattle Fire Department after the vehicle crashed into building early Sunday morning.
Police said that an officer observed the 2002 Chevy Avalanche SUV speeding on Rainier Avenue South around 2:15 a.m.
The SUV nearly collided with the officer's patrol car as it sped past. A few moments later officers located the SUV, which had crashed into a building at Rainier Avenue South and South Charlestown Street.
