Stormy weekend ahead

Another round of fall storms are heading our way. Expect a one, two punch tomorrow and Sunday. Winds on the coast will be 30-40mph with higher gusts possible. In the lowlands, expect winds to be between 15-25mph also with higher gusts.  Rain will be heavy at times and will be 5”-8” in the mountains (higher elevations could see upwards of a foot) and in the lowlands, 1”-3” will be the average by Monday morning.

A cold front is pushing into Oregon tonight only to return tomorrow with a warm front and tons of rain. The second system arriving on Sunday will tap into some tropical moisture and pour rain into Western Washington through Monday. Localized flooding is likely as well as spotty power outages and downed trees. I would have a flashlight and extra blankets handy just in case.
