Summer starts Thursday night
It took 19 days but today was our first “June Gloom” day. OK at least if feels pretty good with highs near 70 and only a few showers. Most of the rain through Thursday will be north of Seattle and again near the mountains. The north Cascades will get a good soaking. Summer arrives at 10:04 PM Thursday so enjoy all that extra daylight. The longest day of the year brings 16 hours of daylight. The weekend looks pretty good with more sunshine and highs back in the 70s. Walter. 6/19/13
