Suspect arrested for allegedly exposing himself to 15-year-old girl on Metro bus
SEATTLE -- A 26-year-old man who is suspected of being the Metro rider who was photographed exposing and fondling himself in front of a 15-year-old girl on a bus in June has been arrested, the Seattle police said Thursday.
The quick-thinking girl was able to take photos and video of the man before he exited the bus on the 6000 block of 16th Avenue SW on June 3.
The photos and video were recently released to the public by police.
Because of the photos and video, two King County Sheriff’s Office detectives recognized the suspect in the area of 15th Avenue SW and SW Roxbury late Wednesday. They detained the suspect and called Seattle police.
Seattle took custody of the suspect and booked him into the King County Jail for investigation of a charge of indecent exposure.
