Mercer Island police release pictures of hate crime suspects

Mercer Island police are looking for two people believed to be involved in a hate crime at Islander Middle School.

MERCER ISLAND, Wash. - The Mercer Island Police Department says two suspects have been identified in connection to antisemitic and racist vandalism left at a local middle school.

Police say the two suspects defaced numerous exterior windows and walls at Islander Middle School on January 1. Both were captured on surveillance without their face coverings.

On Friday night, Mercer Island Police said they have identified the suspects, and will provide additional updates when available.
