Teen could get 20 years for January shooting death

EVERETT, Wash. (AP) — A teenager is facing 20 years in jail after he pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in the January shooting death of an Everett man during a robbery.

The Daily Herald reports a neighbor found 57-year-old Jeffrey Wehl lying on his kitchen floor and bleeding from a gunshot to the head.

Police say 19-year-old Ali Ramadhan went to the apartment to rob Wehl, a man known to wear expensive jewelry. Ramadhan will be sentenced in July.

Police also charged 18-year-old Kyelee Miller with first-degree murder, who told police she was in the apartment to have sex with the victim for money.
