Union advises members to vote against Boeing's latest contract offer
EVERETT -- Machinists union leaders are holding their ground advising members to reject Boeing's latest proposal.
According to the Everett Herald, the union sent a letter to members this week recommending a 'no' vote against Boeing's revised contract offer.
Members rejected Boeing's initial offer earlier this month. Boeing says if approved, the company will assemble the 777X in Everett and produce wings for the plane in the Puget Sound area.
The vote is scheduled for January 3rd.
