VIDEO: Autumn Veatch haunted by not being able to save grandparents in plane crash
BELLINGHAM, Wash. – After surviving a plane crash, then wandering for days in the wilderness, 16-year-old Autumn Veatch is still processing everything that happened.
Veatch’s small airplane went down in Skagit County last weekend, killing her step-grandparents. She walked through the wilderness for two days until she could find help. She is now at home in Bellingham recovering.
