Violent fugitive fails at hiding out in home improvement store
FUGITIVE CAPTURED June 13, 2013 -- Renton police say they found John Notter hiding under a tarp, and 'hugging' onto a lawnmower at the Lowe's store he ran into, after getting caught prowling cars in a nearby parking lot. King County detectives say fugitive John Notter is accused of busting into a woman's home, taking her stuff and leaving his fingerprints all over the place. Prosecutors say Notter has had close to 30 warrants issued for him in the past decade, including the seven he's wanted for now – and one of them is a Department of Corrections escape warrant, another is for burglary. “This woman was gone on vacation last summer. He burglarized her house and took many items.Luckily, we were able to get prints and catch him," Sgt. Cindi West said. But now he's on the run again. John Notter is 30 and has several of warrants for domestic violence. He's also wanted in Pasco, so it's a statewide search for this guy.
