Winter Storm Warning for Cascades; rain & wind in lowlands
SEATTLE -- There is a Winter Storm Warning for the Cascades until 6 a.m. tomorrow morning. Snow level is 2,500 feet, so ALL Cascade passes will be affected.
Expecting total accumulations of 12-18 inches, with breezy-to-windy conditions causing poor visibility. The active system bearing down on us will bring rainy & windy conditions to the lowlands late this morning and this afternoon. It's a chilly day too, with highs only in the upper 40s.
The weekend will be chilly with highs in the mid-to-upper 40s and just a few showers. Monday could be dry, but the next round of rain will starting Monday night into Tuesday. It looks dry mid-week next week, but it'll too far off to know for sure.
