The advisory  is in effect until 6 am Monday, the NWS reported.

Light snow will fall though early Monday morning, with a mix of sleet or freezing rain, before turning to rain in the afternoon, the NWS reported.

Snow fall may be 1 to 2 inches, with minor ice accumulations possible south and east of Tacoma after midnight Sunday.

Roads will become slippery as temperatures will likely stay near or below freezing - for the I - 5 corridor from the King and Pierce county lines southward, the NWS reported.
