Witnesses help cops catch sex offender who groped woman at bus stop, Seattle police say

SEATTLE -- Police say several witnesses chased down a man who groped a woman at a Seattle bus stop.

According to Seattle police, the woman was waiting for a bus at Broadway and E. Union Street around 9:15 p.m. when the man approached her from behind and groped her.

Investigators say the victim screamed, and several witnesses, one on foot and another on a bike. chased the 29-year-old man down the street. They pinned the suspect on the ground near Broadway and Pike St. where police arrested him.

The suspect was booked into King County Jail for investigation of indecent liberties. He has not been identified because charges have not yet been filed against him.
