WMW viewer tip leads to arrest of man caught on camera exposing himself to teen girl on bus

EXPOSERFUGITIVE CAPTURED July 31, 2013 -- Seattle police and King County deputies arrested Marcus Johnson on Wednesday night, after he was featured as our top fugitive on Washington’s Most Wanted. A WMW viewer tip to Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound identified Johnson from surveillance video showing him exposing and fondling himself in front of a 15 year old girl.

When detectives interviewed Johnson Thursday morning, he said he remembered asking the girl if she had any lotion, but provided no other details. He was booked into jail for Indecent Exposure. Johnson has a previous conviction for theft and was recently arrested for assault. WANTED IN SEATTLE July 26, 2013 -- What this man did on a Metro bus was terrifying for his victim. The man was riding a Metro bus when he exposed himself to a 15-year-old girl sitting across from him, and then, with his pants down, asked her if she had any lotion. He even wanted to know if he could call her. Fortunately, he was caught on camera and Seattle detectives hope you can identify him. "You see the victim and the suspect get on the bus. They go back toward the back of the bus. She sits in a seat across from him, puts her feet up toward the suspect -- actually facing him. The suspect in this case kind of goes along and all of a sudden he just pulls his pants down and exposes himself to this victim," retired detective Myrle Carner with the Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound said. The girl was freaked out, but used her phone to take video of him. And man continued with his behavior for several minutes, touching himself in front of her. He appears to be a light-skinned black man, but detectives don't know for sure. "The fact is, if you know who this individual is, keep in mind this is not just some guy riding the bus, this guy is dangerous," Carner said.
