WMW viewer tips lead to violent Tri-Cities fugitive on run with wanted girlfriend
FUGITIVES CAPTURED April 22, 2015 -- Columbia County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested Jose Cisneros and Breanne Rutherford on Wednesday night during a traffic stop. 'The Times' in Waitsburg says deputies set up surveillance in the 500 block of East Tremont Street in Dayton on Wednesday after being notified by community members and a Crime Stoppers tip that the couple had been seen in town. At 8:30 p.m., deputies watched Cisneros and Rutherford enter a vehicle and drive away from East Tremont. Deputies and Washington State Patrol troopers pulled the vehicle over in the 800 block of East Main Street, where they were able to take Cisneros and Rutherford into custody without incident. Cisneros was transported Wednesday night to Franklin County, and Rutherford was transported to Walla Walla County. 'The Times' says Cisneros and Rutherford are also suspects in a shooting that occurred April 11 on Stockton Road in Dayton. Original reported stated that shots were fired at a vehicle in the area as it left a residence on Stockton Road. A .22 LR pistol was located near the scene. Deputies are still investigating this incident. High-Violent Offender, Jose Cisneros, has six felony warrants out for his arrest in Franklin County. Both he and his girlfriend, Breanne Rutherford, are wanted by the Department of Corrections for Escape. Rutherford’s breaking probation in Walla Walla County. Officers believe they’re on the run together and say Cisneros is a dangerous gang member who should definitely be considered ‘armed and dangerous.’ One of his warrants is for being a felon with a gun. Cisneros has more than 30 convictions on his rap sheet.
