Woman arrested for allegedly stabbing 17-year-old girl during fight in West Seattle

SEATTLE -- Police arrested a 54-year-old woman for allegedly stabbing a younger female in the chest during a fight outside a convenience store at 35th Avenue SW and SW Morgan Street Wednesday night.

The West Seattle Herald said the victim reportedly was 17 years old.

Officers were called shortly after 7 p.m. Wednesday about a report of two females fighting outside the store, police said.  When the officers arrived, they found a victim had been stabbed in her chest and they alleged assailant was still there. She was arrested.

 

Medics transported the victim to Harborview Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries, police said.

Officers planned to book the woman into King County Jail on investigation of assault following their investigation, police said.
