World's tallest dog, Zeus, dies at age 5
OTSEGO, Mich. -- The Doorlag family is mourning the loss of their dog Zeus.
The giant Great Dane was officially named the “world’s tallest dog” by the Guinness Book of World Records in 2012, WXMI reported.
Zeus was more than seven feet tall when he stood on his hind legs. He weighed about 155 pounds and was the size of the average donkey.
The family told FOX 17 Zeus was a “great dog” that will be greatly missed.
Generally, Great Danes live until about 8-years-old. Zeus would have turned six in November.
