‘You can’t handle the truth!’ Jack Nicholson reportedly retires from acting
LOS ANGELES – Celebrity website, Radaronline.com, is reporting Jack Nicholson is retiring from acting. According to the site, the 76-year-old is stepping away from acting because of “memory loss” and can’t remember any of his lines. It’s reported he recently turned down the role of an alcoholic father in the film, “Nebraska.”
In a career spanning 55 years, Nicholson has starred in more than 60 films, with some notable roles in “Easy Rider,” “The Shining,” “Terms of Endearment,” “Batman” and “As Good as It Gets.” Nicholson last appeared on the big screen in 2010’s “How Do You Know.” During his career, he has been nominated for an Academy Award twelve times, winning three of those times.
According to the Daily Mail, despite retiring, Nicholson will not step out of public life. That means you can probably catch him courtside at L.A. Lakers games.
