Legion of Boom reunited, Browner re-signs with Seahawks

SEATTLE - Free agent cornerback, Brandon Browner is reunited with his former team.  The Seattle Seahawks signed the 31-year old to a one-year contract on Sunday.   Browner played with the Seahawks for three seasons before stints with the Patriots and Saints.

He was released by New Orleans in February after committing the most penalties in a single season since 2001.   Browner recently revealed that he played the entire 2015 season with a torn MCL suffered in the first preseason game.

"I never wanted to make an excuse, so I played thru it," Browner said. "Last year was the most frustrating year for me, those who know me knew I was affected by it."

Browner's agent, Peter Schaffer said when he told the defensive back that the Seahawks were interested in bringing him back “I’ve never heard him happier. I really haven’t.”
