Andre Nguyen: Accused child molester still on the run from Olympia; wife charged with ordering girls to keep quiet
UPDATE Aug. 30, 2015 -- OLYMPIA, Wash. — Accused child molester Andre Nguyen is still on the run from Olympia. Now, his wife has been charged In Thurston County with three counts of Tampering with a Witness and Rendering Criminal Assistance In the First Degree. Prosecutors say Tieng Nguyen ordered both young girls to tell police that nothing happened and refuse to discuss it further. Detectives say she also would inspect one alleged victim’s body approximately twice a week to “see if Andre had left any marks on her.” Prosecutors say she sold her home, all of her vehicles and a rental house to a relative for $170,000. Detectives believe she used the money to help Andre bail out of jail after his arrest and to continue to stay on the run. Tieng was arrested as she prepared to fly to Vietnam to visit family. She was released on bail. Andre took off in March.
