Bicycle Bully: Accused of pushing elderly man into road -- badly hurting him
WANTED IN BELLINGHAM -- Bellingham police need you to take a good look at this ‘Bicycle Bully’ -- accused of pushing a 70 year old man into the road and oncoming traffic. This photo of him snapped by a bystander who saw it all, is about as crystal clear as it gets. Cops say the biker was stopped and arguing with the elderly man on Northwest Ave. near W. Illinois St. -- when he shoved him. Witnesses say the elderly man flew off the curb about five feet onto his back -- smacking his head on the pavement -- and didn't move from there. He had to be put on a stroller to get him to the hospital. He survived, but says he doesn't remember anything before he got hurt. His accused attacker was riding a black Diamondback mountain bike with a red stripe around the tires, and red handles.
His hat has a unique logo off to the side that looks like an eight ball inside a white circle. He pedaled off, just leaving that old man lying there in the road, and now he needs to be identified.
