CAPTURED: Adrian Gomez, accused of being busted with loaded gun, before busting out of cop car
Updated 12/12/13 CAPTURED Adrian Gomez was arrested by Auburn PD and DOC, acting on information from the TPD gang unit; he was booked into SCORE jail. WANTED IN PIERCE COUNTY -- Cops say Adrian Gomez -- an armed and dangerous felon -- broke out of the back of a patrol car just minutes after getting busted with a loaded gun. He’s been on the run ever since. When Gomez was pulled over the car he was in was packed with people, which kept deputies busy and gave Gomez a chance to escape. "He was taken into custody in a traffic stop. He was placed into another deputy’s patrol car. They were busy securing other occupants of the car. By some means that we're still investigating, Gomez was able to get out of the backseat of the car through a window, and he haven't found him since," Pierce County Sheriff’s detective Sgt. Jerry Bates said. “Mr. Gomez has multiple entries in his criminal history including resisting arrest, domestic violence incidents, as well as driving-related things. He has multiple warrants out for his arrest and we need the public's help in locating him," Bates added. Gomez has a couple of easy-to-spot tattoos: The words "West Side" on the right side of his neck and a teardrop under his left eye. Gomez is 23-years-old, 6-feet, 3-inches tall and weighs 225 pounds.
