Christopher Norwood: Violent felon accused of choking wife, threatening to kill her

norwoodWANTED IN SEATTLE -- Seattle police need your help tracking down a violent felon on the run. Christopher Norwood has been busted for a bunch of crimes like robbery, theft, and obstructing police. He also has a long history of domestic violence, like the attack on his wife he's wanted for now. "They got into a verbal argument,” says Ret. Det. Myrle Carner with Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound. “He actually grabbed her. Started shoving her around. He forced her against a wall and then he put his hands around her throat and choked her and it looked like she was going to go unconscious. A friend of hers was standing nearby. Found a knife and actually had to threaten him, saying 'I'm going to cut you if you don't let go of her.' He did. Victim falls, actually has the presence of mind to grab her phone and dials 911, and he threatens her again and says, 'If you complete that call, I'm going to finish you." Norwood took off before making good on this threat to kill her, and hasn't been seen since. Christopher Norwood is 29 years old. He was last living on Rainier Avenue in Seattle, but detectives think he may have taken off to Texas.
