Cops need ID of 'Apple Picker' who preyed on tourist riding train
WANTED IN KING COUNTY -- A tourist visiting Seattle and riding the train -- the latest target of ‘Apple Pickers’ -- street thugs swiping iPhones right from citizen's hands. King County Sgt. Cindi West tells us how it went down. “This guy actually gets on this train. Sits there for a good couple minutes. Then, just as he’s walking out the door, he grabs the cell phone from the victim and runs out the door. Clearly, he must not have known there were cameras there, because it’s pretty easy to identify this guy, not to mention he had a pretty unique sweatshirt on.” It's a black hoodie with a large picture and white writing on both the front and the back. Detectives think he's in his mid-teens, 5’10”, with a thin build. He's one of the criminal faces on CANYOUID.ME -- a website officers from across the state use to identify and bust accused crooks.
