Firefighters extinguished a fire in an apartment in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood.
SEATTLE - Firefighters extinguished a house fire in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood.
The fire broke out shortly before 8:00 p.m. at a home near Bellevue Ave E and E Republican St. Fire officials say the fire sparked in the basement of a one-story home, and all residents were evacuated out of precaution.
Crews found the source of the fire in the basement and extinguished it, then spent the next 20 minutes putting out hot spots around the house, then checking the attic.
No injuries were reported.
