Gym locker room thief: With crooks like this, you’re a target even when you’re working out

gym thief

WANTED BY SEATTLE POLICE -- He looks like an ordinary man shopping at the downtown Seattle Nordstrom, but Seattle police say he was using a credit card he stole from a gym locker.

Detectives say he cut through a padlock at the Seattle Executive Fitness Club and stole a man's wallet. Within minutes, he spent more than $3,000 on a Men's Movado watch and gift cards.

"Nobody runs around with bolt cutters unless they intend to do things like this," said Ret. Det. Myrle Carner. "The chances of him going into other locker rooms because he got away with this, he probably thinks I got it made so he`s gonna probably hit your locker next."
