Jason Brioso: Accused of turning neighborhood into own off-road arena while recklessly running from cops
WANTED IN SPOKANE COUNTY --
Jason Brioso is accused of turning a neighborhood into his own off-road arena while hightailing it from cops.
Deputies say it started when Brioso got pulled over after being suspected of a nearby car prowl. Deputies quickly figured out the pickup he was in was stolen, waited for backup to arrive, but say when they approached Brioso – he gunned it in reverse up a hill. From there, deputies say he drove through people’s yards -- smashed into a tree in one yard, but gunned it again and made it to a field where he hit a curb, did a 180-spin, landed in a ditch — and took off running. Deputies couldn’t catch him, and he hasn’t been seen since.
Jason Brioso is 30 years old and also has a warrant for drugs.
