Jose Jurado Marquez: Accused of attacking roommate in jealous rage
WANTED IN SEATTLE -- Seattle police say fugitive, Jose Jurado Marquez, lived with a female roommate for about a year. But, when he tried to be more than just friends and professed his love for her -- she said ‘no’ – and that's when Seattle detectives say Marquez flew into a jealous rage. "Detectives say he forced himself upon her, into a room where she was trying to get away from him. He grabbed her by the hair, slammed her to the ground, he assaulted her a couple of times by hitting her. During this time, detectives say he actually took a pillow case and tried to smother her, and he did it several times, and even the victim stated he blacked out a couple of times. Fortunately in this case, we don't have a homicide, but we do have a very serious domestic violence case." Detectives say Marquez admitted to the attack over the phone, but hasn't been seen since.
