Polo Shirt Perp: Bremerton police credit card crook's victimized dozens -- without stealing a piece of plastic
WANTED IN BREMERTON -- Bremerton police say an accused credit card fraud suspect has victimized nearly 30 people -- without ever stealing a single piece of plastic from any of them. It's a multi-state mystery you can help solve if you can tell detectives who the guy is in the Polo shirt. "We have a subject that we have on video at several different stores, who's been committing fraud and theft all across Western Washington, ranging from Everett down to Chehalis and even into Oregon,” says Bremerton Police Sgt. Kevin Crane. “Somehow he is manufacturing phony debit or credit cards, and making purchases at Fred Meyer's and Walmarts and other places, and thus far we know of over $10,000 in thefts he's committed down Washington State and into Oregon. It's mostly the banks that are being hit and of course when the banks suffer a loss, you and I as the consumers, end up ultimately paying the price for that.” This is a CANYOUID.ME case, so if you know who they are, you can CLICK HERE and email the detective. --or— Call an anonymous tip into: CRIME STOPPERS: 1-800-222-TIPS You must call the Crime Stoppers hotline with your tip to be eligible to receive a cash reward for information leading to a fugitive’s arrest.
