Violent Best Buy robber: Slashes security officer in face with pair of pliers after trying to steal laptop
WANTED IN BELLEVUE -- Best Buy prides itself on its' good prices, but that didn't matter to a violent robber who struck at the Bellevue store. Surveillance video shows him milling around a laptop that he eventually steals. You can tell store security is on onto him because the camera is following him for several minutes before a loss prevention officer confronts him at the computer. He's bold though – pulling out a pair of pliers, cutting the security cable to the laptop, and bolting before attacking a second loss prevention officer who tries to stop him.

"When he was confronted by loss prevention, he swung the pliers at the loss prevention officer, slicing him in the face, so that made this shoplift a robbery,” says Bellevue Ofc. Seth Tyler.” We need to get this guy identified. He's clearly a dangerous subject who has no problem using force when he commits these crimes.”
