Violent gas station robbers: Suspects will make you really look around next time you pull into gas station
WANTED IN KENT -- It’s video that will make you really look around the next time you pull into a gas station – showing a driver attacked by a group of men when he pulls up to the pump. Now, Kent police are sharing that video in hopes you can identify the three violent robbers who beat a man for his necklace. Take a look at the images from inside a Denny's restaurant that clearly show the faces off three of the suspects. Detectives say they spotted a driver and his wife cruising by as they headed to a nearby gas station, bolted from the restaurant and barely gave the man time to get out of his vehicle. "There's a slight conversation and then there's a scuffle,” says Kent Det. Melanie Robinson. “You can't see the victim actually getting attacked in the video, unfortunately, but you can see them tussle back and forth with him and then the fourth guy walks in but the girl that's involved as well pulls him back. We believe they were possibly under the influence, had a little liquid courage in them and attacked this gentleman for his jewelry.”
The skinny guy was wearing a short-sleeved plaid shirt. You can really see the guy in the black hat turned backwards and the black and white tank top with a design that looks like a take on the Chicago White Sox logo. The big guy was wearing a black t-shirt from the show ‘Breaking Bad’ with the main character, Walter White's, Heisenberg image on it. Two of the suspects took off in an older, gray Toyota pickup.
